Recently we had the fantastic opportunity to be featured in a news article for the Assemblies of God written by Deann Alford. First, we want to thank Deann for the incredibly kind words and the Assemblies of God for allowing us to show them our ministry. Within hours of the article being published, we received an email from some letting us know how just hearing about Geek Devotions has encouraged and inspired them.

Thank you so much, Deann, and the leadership of the Assemblies of God, for helping us reach our goal of letting people know they are loved.

That said, we wanted to add something to this article. The article mainly focused on Celeste and myself and our work to build this ministry. However, over the years, especially the last 2, we’ve been blessed to have a team of volunteers gathered around us. These individuals with various denominational backgrounds and histories have come together for one purpose. They are letting people know that they are loved. Some have lent their talents to help write “Christian living” articles, devotionals, and reviews. In addition, we have people on our team who lend us their voices for the various podcast channels we host. These and the various guests who have been on our show have all come together to fulfill the words of Jesus:

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Yes our dream is to travel around the nation speaking at churches, conferences, and schools, but we know full well that we are here because of the support of many others. Not just our team who help us to create content, but a host of individuals in our personal lives who pray with and for us. People who listen to our heart cries and cheer us on. People who support us financially.

So from a sincere and humble heart, Celeste and I thank everyone who has supported us. Thank you for helping us to reach the lost with the truth and hope of Jesus Christ.

  1. Thanks so much, Dallas! Really enjoyed visiting with you and Celeste and sharing your story with AG News readers. There was so much that got omitted as this was an 800-word assignment. Everybody can help get the word out on social media by reposting/retweeting the link.
