This past weekend we had the opportunity to go to Geek’d Con in Shreveport, LA and take part the biggest Geek and Pop Culture celebration in the Ark-la-Tex area! With it being the 35th Anniversary of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, we decided to ask the question: In a full on battle between the four brothers… who would win? If you’ve ever been around Ninja Turtle fans, you know one thing for sure: everyone has an opinion on which turtle is the strongest. At Geek’d Con this year, Dallas decided to put that question to the test with fans in attendance. The result? A passionate and surprisingly deep debate over who would actually win in a no-holds-barred, four-way fight between Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo.
Some fans went with gut answers, like “Raph all day, every day,” because of his intensity. Others took a more thoughtful approach, pointing out how Raphael’s temper might actually cost him the win. Several leaned toward Leonardo, citing his discipline, leadership, and calm under pressure. Donatello even received some love for his intelligence and tech-savvy nature. At the same time, Michelangelo surprised many by standing out as a serious contender thanks to his natural agility and the legacy of The Last Ronin.
What started as a fun question at the con turned into a fascinating look at how much people care about these heroes in a half shell. Fans drew from different comic runs, animated series, and even deeper lore like the Battle Nexus. It was clear, turtle fans don’t take this lightly!
At the end of the day, Dallas himself admitted his mind might have been changed. He went in leaning toward Donatello, but after hearing the passionate arguments, Michelangelo just might have earned his vote.
