In the Final episode of season 2, we see the man in the high castle for possibly the last time. He greets Julianna and reveals to her the answer to her question in season 1. Yes, he saw her in the other films. In fact, she was in all the other films, she was the constant in all these films. He told her that others surrounded her and changed their actions based on her and what else was going on in her life but  She was always the same, always willing to do the right thing. Even if it means showing a Nazi boy compassion, and the ability to make his own decision instead of someone making it for him.

Julianna showed love to her enemies, and because of that, she is a constant and reliable person for the Man in the High Castle to trust to do what needs to happen.  As Christians, we need to have that same steadfastness.

In 2nd Timothy 2:15 tells us:

Make every effort to present yourself before God as tried and true, as an unashamed worker cutting a straight path with the word of truth
Tree of Life Version (TLV)

This is a directive on how we as Christians should present ourselves. We need to be tried and true in God. Not saying that we are not human and will never mess up but if we are trying to live how God wants us to, then we are doing pretty good. This week we have been talking about Suicide awareness, and sometimes being that person that is steady in their faith means that people know they can come to you for help, whether that help is just listening or doing something.

There is your devotion for the week, hope that it encourages you!

The question of the Week: What are some practical things you can do to help yourself be more steadfast?
