At the end of Ready Player One, the Oasis is shut down two days a week for people to go out and interact with each other. In Matthew 18:20 Jesus says “For where two or three are gathered in My name there I am in there midst.” At its core, this is why we need church when we go out and gather in Jesus’s name he is among us. His presence brings a change to the world around us.
