This week special guest Paeter Frandsen, of Christian Geek Central, takes time to talk about a very practical thing, “how can we as Christian Geeks, determine what kind of content is ok to take in?”

People often come to Paeter with questions about how and what kind of content we as Christians and Geeks should interact with. Paeter first points us towards 1 Corinthians 10:31 and 1 Peter 4:11 as a way to help guide us towards an answer.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31

whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:11

Everything we do in life should be directed towards this goal. Our goal is to glorify God. So what kind of things that bring us pleasure are ok for us to partake in and still glorify God? Does it cause you to stumble in your walk with God? Does it influence your thinking or actions in negative ways? If not then go on past that moment. Should you be doing it right now? Is it hindering you from spending time with your family, church family, doing the work of the kingdom? These are things that we should examine before taking part in these things.
