This weeks devotion is based on the newest My Hero Academia movie in theaters. We binged the parts of season 4 we were behind and watched the movie in the same day… You could say we went Plus Ultra.

Spoiler Warning

So in the final Boss fight with Bakugo and Deku you see both boys just wasted… Exhausted, they are done for and in the Literal hands of the enemy as 9 is getting ready to take out the rest of their friends and the kids they have been protecting… And then Deku goes… I have a crazy idea kachan. Deku had the ability to share his quirk… And he shares it with Bakugo. Now Bakugo for those not in the know is not exactly who you would instinctively think of as being worthy of holding One For All. But in this instance he and Deku have to work together. There is no other way for them to finish off this villian if they not only work together but also share the burden of this Powerful Quirk.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you fulfill the Torah of Messiah. For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he is fooling himself.”

Galatians 6:2-3

These verses are telling you that you Will hit situations where you won’t be able to handle it by yourself. And you will need someone not just to come along side you and fight with you… But also to fight for you. We all hit those points. Last year I hit a point due to some family things I needed help, i needed someone to come along side and not just fight with me but share this burden. The people who did that will never know just how much that meant to me. To be able to cry or scream to let out everything I was feeling. To be able to take some time away from the things i love but just couldn’t focus on and know that my responsibilities were taken care of. This is our duty to others as Christian’s. To help others in need. Build up relationships close enough that we can be there for each other. Deku and Bakugos relationship may not be the best example because of the animosity they have towards each other but you see multiple times through out the series that they do care and when it comes down to it they are there for each other.
