In today’s episode we are going to be talking about the new Lady and the Tramp on Disney+. This movie was quite enjoyable and far surpassed other recent remakes ::cough cough:: lion King:: cough:: they took a few things and changed it just enough to where you can enjoy both renditions of this movie. In the movie after last has spent the night in the pound she is talking to jock and trusty and she makes the statement, “Street dogs are just like us, we are just lucky enough to have a home”. This hit me in the feels because oof poor puppies. But it also challenge me.

As Christian’s we have access to this amazing love, salvation and Community. We have a home. But people who have chosen to not believe in God and accept his love are lacking this, and it can be easy to think less of them because we have so much more. But what we have to remember is… They’re just like us but they don’t have “a home”. They don’t know the love of God or how amazing his grace is but that doesn’t mean we’re better. It just means that we as the corporeal extension of God need to love them like He loves them. Now I know it’s easy to love people…if they’re being nice to you, or if they’re doing something that you think is cool. But what about the ones that we dislike? What about the people we disagree with? Or disagree with us?

” If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are doing good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do this.
Luke 6:32‭-‬33 TLV”

We have to love people even when we disagree with them, or even dislike them. We just have to remember that Christ loves them when we are approaching people. Just like us but don’t have a home, and don’t have the loving home we do.

Question of the week.
What do you think of all these remakes that Disney is doing?
