Many times throughout the anime, Erased, Satoru has these moments where he flash backs to memories he had of Kayo right before she was kidnapped. These memories spur him to do something different. Don’t let your memories of the past events stunt you. Christ freed us from the chains of our past so that they can be a platform for us to do something different. You can’t change your past but you can use it to change the future of yourself and others around you.
